Below, we discuss our token model in greater detail, bear in mind that as our project develops, we will continue to update and optimize our protocol to best suit the needs of our community and product.

$NYAN, our native token, is a transferable representation of attributed governance and utility in the Nyan Heroes protocol and is designed to be used solely as an interoperable multifunctional utility token within the Nyan Heroes ecosystem. $NYAN does not in any way represent any shareholding, ownership, participation or right in the project, and are not intended to constitute securities in any relevant jurisdiction.
The secondary market pricing of $NYAN is not dependent on the effort of the Nyan Heroes team, and there is no token functionality or scheme designed to control or manipulate such secondary pricing. The company is not in the business of buying or selling any virtual asset or digital payment token (including $NYAN). Any sale or distribution of tokens during an initial period was solely for the purpose of obtaining project development funds, raising market/brand awareness, as well as community building and social engagement; this is not conducted with any element of repetitiveness or regularity which would constitute a business.
As the native utility token, $NYAN is utilized for a number of game functions that serve to increase its demand.
Players may spend $NYAN to mint or “awaken” their in-game items to unlock the NFT-gated rewards pathway

Players may lock their $NYAN in order to receive additional special access, privileges and rewards
Decentralized community governance allowing holders to propose feedback on future features and upgrades of Nyan Heroes (this right is restricted solely to features of Nyan Heroes, not on the operation and management of the company)
With increasing network activity and marketplace transactions, there would be greater demand for $NYAN. $NYAN accrued via these mechanics would be placed in an rewards pool, which would be redistributed to encourage key groups of active players and ecosystem participants.
Player rewards are paid out to active players for completing in-game activities, or users which participate in a variety of ecosystem activities. This encourages users to exert efforts to contribute and participate in the ecosystem on Nyan Heroes, thereby creating a mutually beneficial system where every participant is fairly compensated for its efforts.
$NYAN would also be distributed to support builders, developers, and partners within the Nyan Heroes ecosystem, as well as to support costs of various marketing and publishing costs, such as user acquisition, growth, PR and community events.
$NYAN is an integral and indispensable part of Nyan Heroes, because without $NYAN, there would be no incentive for users to expend resources to participate in activities or provide services for the benefit of the entire ecosystem on Nyan Heroes.
